Thursday, October 13, 2011. Can I Have Fall Please? It is October, and still summer is holding on, like a stubborn cat with its claws dug into someones pant leg. I want it to FEEL like autumn. There is just something about the air in the fall, when the temperature just starts to drop and the world smells like wood smoke from peoples chimneys. There is an electricity, a spark, that makes me feel like I can take on the world.

I am so glad that winter is over. I do not like the cold. I am so happy to be able to go outside and feel the warmth of the sun on my face. It also gives me the freedom to do more physical activities with family and friends. I have several coming up and I have completed 2 so far in 2016. I also have a few 5ks thrown in for good measure. Here is what I am registered for so far.
Finally Joined A Gym! 160;Monday, October 30, 2017. So I have finally joined a gym. I joined the YMCA near to my house. I can walk there in 15 minutes of take a 10 minute bus ride. I finished my 24 day challenge with a loss of about 20 pounds. I felt great and was really psyched. Not too long after that I found out that I needed to have a hysterectomy ASAP. Rather than be discouraged or set myself up for a setback I continued with good eating and had my surgery on June 10. My family and I have been in Florida since Saturday.PARSED CONTENT
